This is a post I wrote exactly two years ago, back when I had a blog called She Wore Ribbon. I wouldn’t normally recycle posts, especially fashion ones (they go out of date ridiculously quickly) – but I still love everything in this capsule wardrobe!
I thought my taste has evolved a lot in the last couple of years, but apparently not, eh?
These are 10 simple items of clothes, 3 pairs of shoes and 3 accessories (in hindsight I regret not adding more). You can mix-and-match them to create at least three weeks of outfits – from festival-style casual to work-appropriate classy. Impressive, right?
Capsule wardrobes are cost-effective, space saving and make it easier to get dressed in the morning – I’m definitely going to be designing one for summer.
So, there you go! I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration for summer. You only need a few clothes – and apparently you’ll like ’em for years to come!
