• Bring on Spring

    Snap happy

As you can see, I’m a bit excited about my new(ish) bag. I’d been lusting after it for months – purely because it was camera-shaped and a bit glittery – before I stumbled across it in the January sales. It’s back to full-price now, so I’m feeling pretty smug.

It’s only downside is that my purse is too chunky to fit inside. Whoops. So now I’m reliving my Uni days, where my bag merely contains a crumpled fiver and a bank card.

I also found this lovely Dahlia dress in the sale, which I’d been trawling for months after receiving a voucher way back in September (thanks BU crew, I hope you guys approve of my purchase!). I thought I’d jump straight into dressing for Spring – I don’t know about you, but I’m getting bored of scarves and tights now!
Excuse my pale pins, I’ll work on them…

    Dahlia, darling

I love a good chiffon smock – primarily because it hides all manner of sins. In fact, I’d say these sort of dresses take up around 25% of my wardrobe. But this one is extra-cool, with it’s pretty bell sleeves and edgier open back style. I certainly feel like I’m on the verge of Springtime in this!
I’m super happy with my purchase, and I think this was a pretty good staple wardrobe investment. I’ll certainly be wearing this as the weather warms up – and I’ll undoubtedly be donning a floral crown to feel flowery and festive! But for chillier days, I’ll simply add Chelsea boots, tights and a leather jacket and voilà, Autumn-Winter outfit sorted.

    I’m wearing…

Dress – Dahlia | Bag – Accessorize | Shoes – New Look (similar)

Editing these snaps has made me feel pretty excited about Spring being just around the corner. What are you most looking forward to? x

It's very pretty, Nikki. Roll on the good weather so we can get our lighter and brighter gear out. CWx

So true Katy! I usually cart around way too much stuff to use this on a regular basis! It was quite nice to just have a phone, keys and money on me for once though =] xx
