• A dreamy, Paris-inspired spring capsule wardrobe

Confession time: I’ve developed a bit of a Pinterest addiction. With every quiet moment, I’m hunched over my phone saving interior inspiration, recipes (OK, fine, pictures of cake) and outfit ideas.

You could argue this is a colossal waste of time, but it’s quite therapeutic. And it’s helped with my foray into capsule wardrobes. When I collate my favourite outfits, I can narrow down the pieces I truly love (and are therefore worthy of investing in) and come up with different ways to wear them.

After gazing loving at my my spring outfits board, I’ve pulled out a few pieces that can create 30+ outfits. My dream spring capsule wardrobe. In case you hadn’t guessed, I’m rather partial to searching ‘Parisian street style’.

    The pieces

A note on my choices: My 15 staples stick to a mostly neutral colour palette, with pops of red and blue (my favourite colours to wear). I wanted outfits that you could wear to work, for weekend downtime and to dinner with friends – because that’s literally all I do!

    The outfits:

When I counted (admittedly, maths isn’t my forté), there were 33 different outfits. This is by no means an exhaustive list – there are loads more combinations. But it does go to show that just a few pieces are enough to dress you for a whole season!
